How do I add hotspots to a scene?
Place scene links, info hotspots, CTA buttons and lead forms on a panorama, then fine-tune their size, colour and position.
Hotspots are the interactive layer of a scene. Open the scene, pick a hotspot type in the inspector and click the panorama to place it; every hotspot can be moved, resized and restyled before you publish.
Choose a type
- Scene link moves the visitor to another scene of the same tour.
- Info hotspot opens a card with text, an image or both.
- Media hotspot plays video or audio in an overlay.
- CTA button and lead form trigger an action instead of opening a card.
Each type has its own tab in the inspector, so the settings never overlap: a scene link asks for a target scene, an info hotspot asks for text and an image, a CTA button asks for a label and a destination, and a lead form asks for its fields. A hotspot without content stays greyed out in the preview, so an empty card is easy to notice and to fix before the tour goes live.
Place and edit
- Open the project, select a scene in the scene list and switch the inspector to Hotspots.
- Pick the hotspot type and click the panorama where it should appear.
- Edit the label, the target scene and the icon in the inspector.
- Drag the hotspot to reposition it and use the corner handle to resize it.
Keep it readable
Hotspots that sit too close to each other are hard to tap on a phone. Leave a gap of about one hotspot width between them and keep labels to a few words, so nothing overlaps on a small screen.
Hotspots are saved with the scene as you work. Press Ctrl+Z or Cmd+Z to undo a misplaced one and Ctrl+Shift+Z or Cmd+Shift+Z to redo it.
