How do I create my first tour?
Create a project, upload a 360° panorama, wait for the background processing and see the scene in the viewer in minutes.
A tour is a project made of scenes. Create the project, upload one equirectangular panorama, and the platform generates a preview plus low, medium and high quality derivatives that browsers load on demand.
Create the project
- Open the Tours section in the left menu and select New tour.
- Name the tour, choose the default language and pick a folder for the project.
- Confirm the dialog and the project opens in the builder.
The New tour dialog also asks for the default language of the tour and the interface language of the player. Both can be changed later, but setting them now saves you from editing every scene twice. If you shoot several spaces that belong to one building, put the project into a folder — folders keep the scene list readable once the tour grows past a dozen panoramas. A new project starts empty, so it can be renamed at any time: the name you type here is what visitors see in the shared page and in the browser tab.
Upload the first panorama
Drag a 360° equirectangular image into the upload area, or use Add scene → Panorama. The file must be a jpg, png or tiff in a 2:1 ratio; the platform checks ratio and resolution and refuses anything else.
Wait for processing
- The status indicator in the scene list shows Uploading, Processing and Ready.
- Processing runs in the background, so you can keep working in another tab.
- Low, medium and high derivatives are generated automatically for every scene.
Keep the original file on your computer. Mango360 stores the derivatives, but the source panorama is never replaced — uploading a corrected file creates a new scene instead of overwriting the old one.
