Publish, Version History and Rollback
Publish a tour, compare the version history and roll back to an earlier release when something needs to be fixed quickly.
You will learn how a draft becomes an immutable published version, how the version history is organised and how to roll back to an earlier release without rebuilding anything.
Draft and published versions
The editor always works on a draft. Publishing freezes the current draft into a version that cannot be edited, and the public link starts serving it. Any change you make afterwards goes into a new draft, so the live tour stays online while you work. The publish dialog also holds the watermark setting, which stamps your logo on every scene of that version.
- Finish the changes in the editor and check the scene list once more.
- Press Publish and confirm the release in the dialog.
- Note the version number and the date shown in the release dialog.
- Keep editing: the published version stays live until you publish again.
Read the version history
Open the history panel in the project to see every release with its number, date, author and the scenes it contained. Comparing two entries shows which scenes were added, renamed or removed between them, which makes it easy to find the version that still had the old copy.
Roll back
Choose an earlier version and press Restore. The platform publishes the content of that version as a new release, so the history stays complete and no visitor ever meets a missing tour. Tell the team before you restore, because the audit log records the change under your name.
A rollback does not bring deleted panoramas back into the media library — it restores their use in the tour. Files removed from the project may have to be uploaded again.
