QR Codes and Sharing Links
Generate a QR code for a tour, choose a short link for print and social media and track how many people scan it.
You will create a QR code that opens a published tour from a phone camera, and you will set the link parameters so the code opens the tour in the right language and on the right scene.
Create the code
In the share dialog choose QR code. The generator renders the link of the published version as a square code you can download as a png. Print it at least three centimetres wide and keep a quiet margin around it, because a code without a margin is often not detected.
- Open the share dialog of the published tour.
- Choose QR code and select the download format.
- Test the code with three different phones before printing.
- Keep the printed size at three centimetres or more.
Tune the link
The link behind the code accepts the same parameters as the embed. Set lang to the language of your printed material, choose a scene if the code should open on a specific room, and leave autoplay off when the tour should start on a tap rather than immediately.

Count the scans by giving each printed piece its own link. The viewer opens of every link appear in the analytics dashboard, so you can compare a poster in the lobby with a code in a printed brochure and keep the one that performs better.
